In the Home Stretch: More Volunteer Opportunities Available This Week
Election Day, Tuesday, November 6th is only eight days away. To make sure that Issue 48 is defeated, we need your help now. We need to reach out to our most likely supporters, remind them what is at stake and ask them to vote NO. (Please note: We are NOT asking you to convert anti-rail voters or get involved in arguments.)
How you can help:
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm.
Volunteers meet at the Coalition for Sustainable Communities, 2135 Dana Avenue, Suite 240, 45207 (some land lines available) or the NEW Cincinnatians for Progress office at at 1420 Main Street.
Bring your own cell phones to call registered voters in areas that voted pro-rail in 2009. We provide the script. You provide the enthusiasm.
Wednesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm out of the Main Street office.
Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm from both locations.
We need to visit 5000 homes before election day, so every hour you can help gets us closer to that goal. We can reach that goal with 25 volunteers per shift. Every single person who gives a few hours helps us get there.
You can sign up by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
YARD SIGN CANVASSING:
Also available at both the new office, 1420 Main Street or at the Coalition for Sustainable Communities, 2135 Dana Avenue, Suite 240, 45207. If you live in Northside, Oakley, Pleasant Ridge, Uptown or uptown area, you can "canvass" to place NO on 48 sign in your own neighborhood.
For additional information or to register to volunteer, please contact email@example.com.
